it isn't the two adults consenting, it's in the expectation of the position. hs teacher is meant to be more of a mentor, community-oriented person. professor is there to professionally teach.

I think it's that, coupled with the fact that they have that role over people who are or were very recently children.

Most people agree 18 year olds can **** if they want, but some people bristle at the idea that someone in that sort of manipulative role could "seduce" an 18 year old or younger.

Doesn't hold a ton of logically or legally consistent weight, but it is what it is.

I've always imagined future mrs karak will probably be a hs teacher. Is this a mistake?

O thats nice some drunk ****in idiot left the oven on all night baking something so I wake up to smoke alarm going off with smoke everywhere downstairs...somehow neither of my roommates manage to wake up at all during this time. One of the few nights I am not in a drunken stupor with them but now my apartment reeks of smoke. I mad.

my wife taught HS for 7 years and is doing middle school now, and she's the best person alive.

everyone I teach with is cool. they're all pretty good looking too.

'crazy'? well yeah a little, tho I'd probably more attribute it to the fact that we have to work with teenagers all day long with much less adult interactions than most people our age.
