Some guy was bragging about hosting pool parties with topless AND bottomless teenage girls. Which led to him professing how much he cares for them and isn't sexually attracted to them. I didn't think ol' Jer had access to the internet.

Wow. Just wow. In spite of the legal ages in the U.S. and the rest of North America being made clear, you people still act as if being attracted to a girl just a few years younger is like murder. The hypocrisy is strong in this one.

How many American men travel to Thailand, Mexico or central America just so they can cheaply bang some fresh tight virgin?
Not the same guy either.

I guess. First time I saw them was just a few weeks ago. Guess I shouldn't be surprised by it.

Well I've never lived in a city. =\ Suburbia NJ, bumble**** NC/PA, and Myrtle Beach probably are behind the times. Just felt kind of big brotherish to me. Not entirely sure how I feel about it.

At first I was like "Well, maybe he's going to say a 17 year old can easily look 21 or whatever" then he just kept going on and eventually landed at lots of people going to Thailand just to bang young virgins and I was just like "Yeeeeeeeesh"

Are you talking about enforcement cameras? That's pretty grim if they are on "most" signals. Even cities out here that have raging hard-ons for camera money probably don't have them on more than 5% of all signals, and usually only in 1-2 of the eight possible approaches.

There are non-enforcement cameras that are trained to detect cars for traffic management purposes. Those have become more common over the years, presumably due to improvements in technology but also because they can be accessed remotely in most cases. These usually replace loop detectors, the sensor coils in the ground that detect vehicles.

I know we have them here, but the cameras aren't used for ticketing unless there is an accident, which seems perfectly reasonable IMO.

yeah i know. i do try to follow people that follow me out of courtesy (unless they have multiple 10's of thousands of tweets, then **** 'em, but the new people i do). i think i only have like 45 followers so i'm def not a follower whore, i was just more asking why the **** you'd unfollow JUST ME while you're still following thousands of people when i never even made a tweet in the time you followed/unfollowed. i dunno.

i've also bounced off following/unfollowing you once or twice i think. i need dids reading what i tweet.

Have these cameras been common across the country or is this something just now popping up?
they're everywhere, but they don't use 'em. or at least they're not turned on.

there was a big thing around here in one of the smaller suburbs where they got sued by some random and they had to disconnect them.

so yeah, they're in most of the major intersections and they were scary at first but they don't mean ****.

How do you know the difference? I just assumed they were enforcement cameras.

And by most, I drive through 6 towns on my way to work and at least 5 of those towns each light on the roads I drive have these cameras(all of which have gone up in the past 3 weeks).

I agree with TNM, if they aren't for tickets and just for traffic control/accidents thats fine. But jesus it seems like serious overkill if its enforcement.

So it's like instant replay, except for traffic?

If it's a single camera perched on top of a signal it's not enforcement. If it's multiple cameras set up before and/or after the intersection off to the side, then it is for enforcement. Sounds like too many to be the case, unless it's a really greedy town or particularly successful traffic enforcement camera salesperson.

I've been pretty sick since returning from the UK, so I decided to get some gaming done this week. Just finished Max Payne 3...that was a ridiculously difficult game. Highly recommended though.

Been playing Max Payne 3 on and off since it was released. Lot of fun but it is a grind so I take long breaks before the mood strikes again. I'm playing default difficulty which really isn't that hard since it locks in most the time. Maybe you're playing at a tougher level.

No, I was at default but I haven't really been playing anything at all lately so I'm pretty rusty in general. I just found the final couple of missions to be considerably difficult.

Just a friendly note to Clar.k - leading with being sick and veiling the UK trip with an unrelated story about video games is more subtle and less conspicuous humble bragging than posts of the "Im at vacation here at x, and y celebrity looks different than i imagined" variety.
