can't imagine stars will be granted a license in a regulated US market. at the very least not for a few years after ipoker's live here. mgm and all the rest would be absolutely raped by a legal stars

He did. I think he worked for Cake for a while and maybe some other sites that seem like they've all been bought by somebody else and now everybody hates everybody?

If they do enter, I highly suspect it will be as part of a partnership with one of the big casinos. Their lobbyists will obviously keep them protected, just depends how much they want mature software

i wonder how much of the DOJ insisting people receive payment through them is motivated by the fact that a ton of ppl with microbucks in their accounts simply won't bother to go through the process

It will be interesting to see if potential federal legislation continues to have a pre/post UIGEA line in the sand.

Right, and even that might be a bit of a stretch.

There's a chance its just way over my head or whatever, but if its over my head the target audience isn't big enough to make the studio's money back.
The book is ****ing amazing.

The AFL are running a trial/combine in LA to try and recruit American athletes.

We need more AFL broadcasts. Elite sport. I always forget to watch because it's buried on some crappy reality channel in the 100s.

The AFL does has a section on their site where international viewers can stream games live.

Finally saw The Dark Knight Rises. Don't have any of the nittery crap you guys have with it except for the blatant "use your real name robin" line in there. Is it too much to ask to not pander to the audience's stupidity THAT much? How about just calling him Dick or showing his license stating his name is Dick Grayson.

Spoiler:
Given what they were going for (I mean the whole movie wasn't ever trying to be subtle) I honestly don't think that would have been enough. That wasn't a subtle moment of fan service like referencing Killer Croc, that was big blatant "HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING" stuff.

I will say, I think Robin is one of the worst characters in comics, and I would 100% watch a JGL Robin movie.

JGL is quietly putting together a nice little resume of films. I liked Brick very much and LOVED "The Lookout".
