TDKR thread in OOT is so bad, it's not like people are nit picking minor points, the entire plot requires an unreasonably huge suspension of disbelief. It's an average movie with average action sequences

I realize you're just making a joke but people try to handwave away other plot holes with "Dude, it's a movie, just go with it" but when the story makes no sense it really kills your ability to suspend disbelief.

any movie that's ever been made has some amount of implausible logic that if you REALLY wanted to sit there and nit about you could find tons of. i think though that by in large people overestimate the impact the implausibility has on the enjoyment of any given movie in general

Again, all plot holes aren't created equal.

Agree with the last part though. I thought TDKR was a huge disappointment...but I still enjoyed the movie.

I'm captain of the S.S. Willing Suspension of Disbelief, but you got to work at it a little. Also good action scenes go a long way on that front.

That review Tuq posted was awesome.

Good to know it wasn't just the whiskey that made me hate TDKR.

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog and Forum Discussion

You guys are so jaded. It's certainly not the best movie OAT, nobody is claiming that, and not the best movie of the trilogy. But it was good. Saying it's a 6.5/10 is trolling. If Dark Knight was 9.5/10 or something, then TDKR was 8/10 easily. Maybe you're just holding it up to The Dark Knight's standard? idk. Sorry for the OOT derail, carry on.
