I used to stream GH2 back when HellAshes was trying to FC Jordan and k3v was destroying everything. That was some nerddom.

Your coolant line might be low on coolant, or alternatively getting frozen from overuse. Happened to me. Turning the unit completely off for 24 hours brought everything back to normal.

Is it standard for people to prefer summer olympics over winter olympics? This was pointed out to me recently and I hadn't considered there was a wide gap in popularity. Figured they were fairly close but maybe summer events being more a part of the original games matters as well.

Personally I don't really care much about either of them. People running in a circle or swimming back and forth is like NASCAR without crashes, i.e. tedious, and I find it hard to appreciate what they're doing via TV. There are some team sports that I find compelling and of course the figure skating and gymnast broads can be pretty fantastic, but everything else is meh. And there is a lot of everything else.

think the summer games are like WAY more popular than the winter, but i could be wrong.

but yeah, depending on what sports you like they can be pretty equal at best.

My aunt told me she preferred the Winter Olympics over the Summer Games. I looked at her like she was crazy. In either case, it's a "only care about every 4 years" thing for most sports.

fat chunks of the globe never see snow. i'm from one of those areas and don't pay any attention to winter sports apart from watching bobsledding cos of cool runnings

so i was drunk earlier (omg right) at my buddy's house after golfing and the bar. probably 1130ish. i got 8 new rapper compact discs from him and told him i'd be up all night playing pokers and listening to rap music.

he told me i'd be passed out by 2.

i told him i'd see the sun come up.

he bet me $40 i wouldn't.

so i'm hanging in right now, listening to rapper music and playing omaha pokers.

thought taking a shot would help about 20 minutes ago, but of all the cabinet i came up with ouzo, and that didn't help. i got lots of bud light left but that's not going real well, i do have 2 more summer shandy's left in the fridge and one in front of me, and it tastes delicious, but i need more. got a blue (and red, but that's for the morning) gatorade in there but that would make me feel like a quitter.

so help me out SE FAQ LIVEBLOG AND FORUM DISCUSSION. there's gotta be somebody out there that also bet $40 they could see the sunrise.

also, if we got any electricians out there:

my basement outlets aren't working. i realized this when my laptop (which is basically always plugged in) died.

the lights in the drop ceiling are all working, but nothing that's plugged into any outlet downstairs won't come on (2 lamps and a dehumidifier).

wtf?

yes, i tried to shut off/turn on the switches on the box. didn't help. i didn't shut the entire house off because the 12/14/16 switches didn't work so why would the house?

any ideas?

i'm having to sit up in the upstairs living room and i miss my big tv in the basement.
