Meh, still, the movie just came out. I saw it yesterday for the sole reason that I thought it would be impossible to not be spoilered on something. Doesn't mean I want to inflict it on others.

You and Wiper should get together and drive around yelling the endings to movies at people imo
2p2 is actually really good in general about using spoiler tags. Hell we still use them for The Wire liveblogging after 10 years
Original Total Recall is so good. You know you're getting old when they start remaking movies which were released the first time when you were an adult (although in my case just barely). Apparently this one is the same premise with a different plot, so not truly a remake.
Saw the preview for that today. Was also force fed about ten other previews, the most compelling one of which to me was the new Denzel Washington film Flight. Interesting premise although it's no doubt another one of his outrage-at-the-system filled button-pushing flicks that will just get my jimmies rustled so I should know better and sit it out.
One fairly substantial issue is that I couldn't figure out what the **** Bane was saying.
Because of the accent? Or did it just sound muffled to you? I've been seeing that complaint a lot too, but there was maybe one scene where I kinda had trouble understanding what he was saying, everything else sounded fine to me.
Found it really lame that they relied on the ultra cliche countdown timer as the main plot device in TDKR. Seemed like something a hack would come up with because he can't think of anything interesting to do, not someone as accomplished and with such a great track record as Nolan.
Didn't have a single issue understanding Bane though. Overall, just a decent summer action movie, but not even close to The Dark Knight, even though I do agree with the criticisms that the last act was bloated.
Movie theatre ruined it for me hardcore. Everytime Bane came on screen they booed. Yelling at random ****. Screaming at how hot anne hathaway was, ect. Honestly walked out of the theatre utterly hating everything about the movie. But I'll have to see it again.

Muffled. The tension loses its edge when the villain sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher.
To be fair I do sometimes have a hard time processing words so prefer to watch movies at home with CC on. As such I don't expect my complaint to be universal, although it appears I'm not alone.

There were complains/concerns about Bane's voice since people first saw trailers. Supposedly they fixed it some in post- but from reviews it also sounds like mostly they just cranked the volume. Every review I've seen has mentioned it as an issue.
