Debt consolidation. GAMBLING. Debt consolidation. GAMBLING. BOOM. SPAMBUSTERS, BITCH!

First time I saw the guy whip out the wrap it up box in court I lost it. That would be a great troll for someone to do if they knew they were getting a life/death penalty sentence.

If you haven't seen Chappelle on Inside The Actors Studio, it's on youtube, and it's pretty good. He comes off as a pretty down to earth guy who just really doesn't like the celebrity lifestyle.

my slow pitch softball team won its championship tonight, was pretty sweet

double elimination tourney, we had already played the 1st two rounds last week. Come to this week in winners bracket against the team that was 16-1-1. They had beat us 2 weeks prior 25-17 and 21-11, hitting 9 HRs with 6 different people across the 2 games (5HR max per game).

Game 1 we beat them 5-3. Wow they were mad. They take it real seriously and our team is a bunch of hacks (1/2 mid 20s and 1/2 mid 40s). It was our best defensive game of the year.

So now we sit and wait for the losers bracket, well obv the team goes out and wins by slaughter like 23-8. Uh oh their bats are hot.

They have to beat us twice now to win. We led wire to wire in the game, closest they got it was 16-15 after their top of the 5th, we came back in the bottom and made it 21-15. They tack on 1 in the 6th, we don't score. They get 3 in the 7th and have the tying run on base and we get a flyout to win it 21-19. It was our best offensive game all year.

My brother and I batted 5/6 in the order, he went 4/4 with a walk and 4 runs and I went 4/5 with 4 runs. The other 3 young guys on the team (friends of mine) also pwned. Between the 5 of us we were 18/23 with 16 runs scored, lol

I decided I retired from baseball at age 19

Ive considered going back and playing again but I need to get in better shape first... I was always an above average player so I dont think Id enjoy myself if I couldnt play well.

this is more or less how i felt about playing baseball again

if i am not going to be good at it then i'm not going to play it.

i just can't see playing slow pitch softball against co-ed teams. actually i think it's a little more ridiculous in the men's only slow pitch leagues around here that are super competitive but whatever.

seems weird if baseball is an option

Its just much more relaxed, easy to have fun and still be competitive enough to get some adrenaline flowing.

Mens league baseball in this area is pretty competitive unless you want to play in the lowest level with dudes who can barely throw or catch. Im pretty sure Id get destroyed in a 25 and over league considering i havent hit live pitching in 6 years. Id be good enough defensively at 1B, 3B, or catcher (though not sure I could do a 9 inning game), but every mens league player wants to play 1B or 3B, lol.

Wouldnt have fun striking out, popping out and grounding out weakly though, and it would take some serious cage work to get back into shape.

Ive been enjoying softball though. Played intramurals all 5 years of college also.

karak season 4 wire liveblog alert

Spoiler:
lol snoop. i do think she's growing on me a little. after chris beats the living **** out of michael's (it's michael, right?) brother's father, clearly because of something personal (perhaps chris was sexually abused in the past?) and with absolute savagery until the guy's dead all snoop says is, "damn. you didn't even wait to get the mother****ah in da house!"

despite the scene being brutally violent, i burst out laughing after that

I feel pretty much the same way about soccer. I could play in a serious men's league and do just fine, but the less serious coed league is way more fun.

Played one year because they had the worst ****ing rule I have ever heard at my college: if there are females in the field (which there always were because it was co-ed) all men had to bat oppo. Pissed me off so goddamn much. So unnatural to bat lefty after a lifetime of batting righty. Did give me mad respect for switch hitters tho. I don't really understand how it is a skill you can develop, just seems like something you have to do from the beginning of your baseball/softball days.

wtf i would strike out or ground out to the pitcher 90% of the time batting lefty

played fraternity intramurals for softball, we would lose sportsmanship points for abusive behavior to our own players

That's absurd. The only major rule I've seen in co-ed stuff is sometimes in soccer a girl's goal counts as 2 if the sides are big enough (like 8v8 plus). Led to some hilarious situations of teams down 2 in the closing minutes doing any and everything possible to set girls up, including beating the goalie and just standing on the goaline desperately waiting for a girl to pass to.

LOL noze

I hate hate HATE HATE HATE it when a girl scores on me. Happens like once or twice a season garrgggh.

Unfortunately the only goal I've given up in our first five games was to a girl. Took a cross on the ground and placed it in the upper 90 corner and hit the back support.

Girls are fun when they shoot. The ball comes in so slow I can make some pretty sick looking saves when it's really pretty standard.
