Actually my current roommate just about does that with KFC too. Idk about some people's decisions, talk about being an expensive way to ensure an early heart attack

Golf hypothetical:

Take a modern-day scratch golfer with their modern-day equipment. They get transported in a time machine to compete in the US Open. How far back do they have to go to be a favorite to win the US Open, against golfers in that day using their equipment?

@Zimmer, idk, probably pre-hogan and snead for sure I would guess. People overestimate how good a scratch golfer actually is compared to the top pros.

1901. The Haskell ball was first played in the U.S. Open in 1902, replacing the gutta percha ball thereafter.

nitBO may disagree though.

They need to make one of the majors be played at night time, under the lights.

That **** would be so sick.

man, i've thought that before...

but then last night i went to the range at like, 830ish. the twilight was okay and sometimes they'll turn the big lights on but they didn't.

and i tell you what. hitting a ball in even near-darkness is ****ing HARD. i was literally missing the ball, like leaving a divit and the ball not moving MULTIPLE times.

that's not even counting the fact that when you DO hit one you can't ****ing tell where it's going anyway. i'd aim west because the background of the sky was a little lit still and you could see the course/trajectory, but you sure couldn't see where it landed.

anyhow, can we get some fireworks discussion going? i was trying to pick up my friend's son to go today but they're not answering, but either today/tomorrow i'm going. prob gonna spend less than i normally do ($4-500) for a couple reasons, 2 vacations in july will do that. hoping for maybe $200ish (box of shells, maybe 2. couple grand finale boxes, maybe some of those circles that shoot up sparks/cracklers, etc)

will keep FAQ updated.

anyone else enjoy drinking all day and lighting explosives?? favorite day of the year.

I've never lived anywhere where Taco Bell was my only option to satisfy a craving for cheap Mexican. Honestly, it should be a crime to go to Taco Bell in Houston. (Even if you don't like any of the local places, there's Taco Cabana! 24 hours, just as cheap, and much better.)

Last night, the neighbors behind my house had a graduation party for their daughter (HS) Awesome firework display went on at like 9:30-10ish. This morning I asked them how much they spent on all the fireworks, they said over 2 grand. For a damned HS graduation party

Pretty much everyone at my high school had grad parties that were easily over 2k, don't think it's that out of line really just spent on other **** besides fireworks. Sounds like a badass show tho.

No, you're thinking of the vodka tycoon. The popular standup was Paula Poundstone.
