Probably knock out Comp. Science since it's too new and you'll get some ******* drafting Bill Gates/Steve Jobs and trying to pass it off as solid.

Simple is probably better. 20 teams, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, Medicine would probably be the best.

I just smelled a restaurant grease dumpster that is 99% full and has been sitting in a parking lot for the last three 100* days.

Played golf in 108 [humid Virginia] heat today, was outside from noon-6.

The 4 of us all were complaining of elevated heartbeat for the last 4 or 5 holes. I drank 12 20oz bottles of water and didn't piss once, haha. **** was ridiculous

Made 2 birdies tho

Group comp sci and stats together or into math imo

and ignoring geology completely is mean, have an earth science category that includes meteorology and hydrology.

Problem with including something like Astronomy is that you will have a ton of Astro-physics stuff. Might have to lump them together under the physics umbrella.

categories should be:
Physics/Astronomy
Chemistry
Biology (incl zoology and botany)
Math/Statistics
Earth Science (geology, atmospheric science, hydrology)
Medicine

plus 2 or 3 flex positions.

would be in

are we assuming individual duels or a giant team vs team melee?

It could be duel-based or could just be based off the importance of the character to the series. Both could be interesting (obv someone like Hagrid for example would have little merit in a duel but would be worth much more judged on his involvement in the plot)

though is there a top medicine pick available? Salk comes to mind but that seems narrow. Also, Euclid?

Pasteur, Van Leuwenhoek (medical)

Yeah Van Leeuwenhoek wasn't necessarily a medical guy but he did discover bacteria

Theres tons.

Hippocrates (father of medicine), William Harvey (first major work in anatomy), Edward Jenner (essentially created smallpox vaccine in 1796), Joseph Lister (figured out surgical room needed to be clean - lol), Fleming (penicillin), Salk (polio vaccine).

I'd go with hippocrates.
