in general this is pretty easy to avoid as long as you're not a dick. not hard to tell them what they want to hear and not come across as defensive or secretive by giving abrupt and useless answers. i lol at people who constantly get pulled in for extra screening or get their bags searched, or even people who just bitch about traveling by air in general (not saying that's you), not a hard thing to get right

Maybe he had a fat blind screener who was taking forever.

ETA: and no it's probably not "easy to avoid" since the Israeli's actually train their security folks to be secure because they kind of have to be.

i've had experience with israeli security on multiple occasions, i ain't phased. if you have nothing to hide, security is a breezy time (i was implying acting naturally, not making up stuff)

There are some people who, despite their best efforts, will always be given extra scrutiny, even if they don't have anything to hide. It isn't their fault. It's just an accepted part of that system. It works, obviously.
