Plan is to apply to a ton of medical schools all over the country in an attempt to live in the same city as Dr. Ikeswife, who will be applying for internships in clinical psychology at the same time. She'll actually be a doctor before me as well..... kind of.

also, so i went out to the garden probably 6 or 7 times today trying to catch those ****ing rabbits in the act again, they're hiding.

but i also went out and put one of my throwing knives (ax?) that i'm really accurate with out back just in case...wife will probably divorce me, but i won't throw it at one if she's home and if she isn't, i'll just bury it before she's home.

yes, those are for zombies. and yes, i am damn accurate with the one currently outside. my brother powerbombed himself drunk one night through our ping pong table, so we propped one side up against the back of the garage and threw knives at it all summer. 20 feet is the perfect distance, but shorter/longer you can just adjust how much flip you put on it.

while i understand and agree with you, there are two things that make me feel okay about just killing it: first, i have no flippin' CLUE how to skin any animal. i'm not really a hunter type, and it would probably **** with me a little bit gutting/skinning it. second, these ****ers are ****ing with MY food. i'm not out looking to kill rabbits, but i'm also not gonna let them eat my garden all summer w/o consequences and repercussions.

set up a damned camera and hit that bunny

i realize i'm coming across as caddyshackish, but i don't care. i like my garden, i like being able to walk out and pick fresh veggies and eat them that day. i'll be damned if these little ****ers take that away.

i will say i haven't noticed anything wrong with the plants since this morning.

worst part is, both of the last two springs we've watched baby rabbits in our backyard. last year the hole or whatever they have was like, 10 feet from my back porch. this summer it was back in the back corner by some trees we got back there.

never had a problem last year, always assumed it was the marigolds. before i go all bill murray, i probably will go buy a couple more tomorrow and put them around the outside.

i do still kinda like the non-violent option of just running at them screaming and clapping when/if i see them. maybe i'll roll with that, i am pretty averse to killing them but if it comes to it, i will.

now that i think about it, my father-in-law, born in italy and all about killing/skinning/eating animals would know what to do if i showed up with a mid-sized rabbit. could be good eatin'.
