the mods banned you because you said you have them on your payroll

which you obviously must since anyone who is 10% as annoying/awful/bad as you has been summarily permed

Most efficient way to transfer hard drive data from an old computer to a new one? Mostly photos, some office type stuff, and maybe crap like web browser settings/bookmarks.

Yeah but that doesn't help me in the short run. I agree longer term.

I assume just a big ass memory card and transfer back and forth?

Assuming Windows on each side, Windows Easy Transfer works perfectly for this.

Cool I will look into this

Vic it's not that much. I'm just lazy. But I want to purge some old junk and start clean/well organized so a mass dump may not be ideal. Meh.

Yea, I used this during one of the few periods where I could get my old netbook to power up to transfer all my school stuff to the new netbook. Worked great. Easy peasy.

Edit: I see you mentioned this, but I found it real easy to only move over the information I wanted using Windows Easy Transfer without dumping the whole C: drive.
