Sometimes the truth isn't enough. sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded. Because I'm not your hero. I'm a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A dark knight.
The Bucs were better than their record in 11, which is not hard to be or to see.
I got overexcited about freeman, but if you know the history of the franchise and the qb position you can see why.
They added the best guard in the league and a top 5 deep threat. Their new OC was Eli's QB coach and mentor. Greg Schiano is at minimum a good disciplinarian, which is clearly one thing Raheem wasn't providing, and is perhaps the reason for the most epic collapse of a team in recent years.
It's hard to know what the defense will look like schematically right now, but I think either way Claiborne is a much bigger need than richardson. Blount lacks the traits to be an every down back, but the team would be better served to find somebody in rounds 2-3 like doug martin or LM James that complement his skill set than taking Richardson at 5.
I wouldn't be mad if we took richardson, because he's an A+ running back prospect.. but he's still a running back. I'd prefer Blackmon. Blackmon would complement Vincent Jackson well. He can be Anquan Bolden to Jackson's Larry Fitzgerald to a degree, running curls and slants to get first downs. That would slide Mike Williams, Kellen Winslow, and Arrelious Benn to more appropriate roles for their talents. I think a big part of Rodger's development has been his choice of weapons, and giving Josh 4-5 playmakers is a good problem to have

I think I am probably the reason nobody wanted to take him. He probably should have gone in the first few rounds despite his weak season. Going in round 9 was probably the biggest joke of the draft (especially since Flacco and Dalton were top 40 picks iirc).

Reason: WTF at vixticator not snapping him in round 4 or something
