you have the same situation in the MLB thread as you did 3 years ago where a bunch of people were *******s about sabermetrics. the difference is then you had people intentionally being dicks to prove a (probably pedantic) point and now you have a bunch of people being dicks to see if they can make someone mad over the internet

the "analysis" that is being presented as an honest argument is nothing more than googling some numbers that don't mean anything (ikes has repeatedly shown he doesn't know when to do a weighted average, for example) in the hopes of making phildo (mostly) mad about lincecum being bad in a few innings

phildo shouldn't get so butthurt about it but at the same time there's no reason that the village idiots should be participating in a "u mad" contest since it's only "fair" because it does, in fact, get phildo to try and actually argue his side, which is a worthless endeavor for any number of obvious reasons

Bolded has been the single biggest problem with this entire forum for some time now, although the spate of bans in the last few months have really helped curb it.

ya i remember watching elway/td/shanny, but at that age had no real idea of how good an nfl coach actually was. the media told me they were good, and all my bball/lil league football coaches were great imo, so i assumed shanny was as well lol

whats wrong with chucky? he was a nice coach afaik.
