No kidding. I've shot a gun twice in my life and both experiences scared me, lol. I hate guns. I have no desire to ever own one and the "collecting" of them is something I don't think I can comprehend.

a high end pistol can cost around $1500

average price I would put around 400-500, and rifles/shotguns can cost more.

my dad has 3 guns (but he's retired NYPD) so i've always been around guns my entire life. my grandpa was a big hunter, had about 12 assorted rifles and shotguns, and my uncle now has a bunch of those.

shooting a shotgun is actually pretty fun, and skeet is fun. could never see myself hunting but enjoy that stuff.

started hunting a few years ago. It's pretty fun, definitely extremely humbling. Plan on buying a .30-06 and a shotgun in the next year.
