I appreciate his candor
Except from what I've seen it's not really candor, because it's totally conditional in terms of if you're his homie or not. For instance, what he's doing now is pretty damn dishonest in terms of what's happened with what he was trying to promote and the ban.

They're not good for you, and I only smoke them once in a blue moon, but you're basically wrong if you don't think it's really pleasant to smoke a cigarette once you get used to it.

I'm pretty sure Paul Phillips got banned for calling the mods the Hitler Youth, which Mas.on didn't appreciate. He ban was most definitely not deserved.

Abdul Jalib was another legend from the old days who fought with Ma.son and got banned. He was maybe the best strategy poster on the site at the time. I think his real name was Michael Hall, although I don't have any idea if he's well known in the poker world anymore. I learned as much from him (and SE's Clarkmeister and Dynasty) as anyone when I was starting out.

Paul Phillips always pretended he was too good to post on the internet (which I believe he was), so that may well have been a somewhat of a self-ban.

jtg posted on the internet before the internet actually existed, if you can wrap your minds around that one.

Now I feel like I have to be wrong now, and maybe I was wrong then? Since I don't like being wrong- I still kinda think there's a piece of context left missing but I can't figure out what that might be.

Not only did they delete a post, they knocked out an entire thread with at least 50-60 posts in it
this was back when that was like a hudge thread too

That was like right when they started having user mods. While I couldn't' pretend to argue it was delete worthy- IIRC the tone of PP's post was likely a bit more over the top relative to NVG, whereas now it would be outright bland.

philips was a hudge dbag so wateva. it is pretty impressive that he is one of the few to actually stand by his threat to never poast again. also, he had an amazing exposure of that chris brown clown.

DN violated the letter of the law and Mason "appropriately" punished him like any other 2p2er would have been punished to show his impartial nature. Except if you think ***** mcdicksucker is = to DN, you are either stupid or you are trying to look like a tough guy.

Exactly how much weed is "a great deal"? Someone complained to me that he "binged" on a fourth in 3 weeks.

sylar,
It's not that much, but it could be a lot given his normal consumption patterns.
