Man, I am shocked that the guy made it, but it seems like he should have at least negotiated something over $66,667. Make the buyout worth your while imo.

yeah, being there for 2/3 the time and settling for less than 2/3 the money seems like a leak, but i suppose someone could make the argument the last 10 days are much harder than the first 10 or second 10.

I suspect it wasn't quite 20 days and they negotiated a pro rata payout with the guy in the room still not aware of how long it had been.

Finally got my "Cyber Monday" laptop delivered. Realized what I really needed for heavy excel analysis was the kind of chip they use in gaming laptops and go a little skimpy on the video card. Winds up being 1/3 as much as an engineering workstation, which is also mostly due to the specialized video card which I'll never need. Plus this way I get a 17" screen!

So now I have a gaming laptop, and it just occurred to me I could play some games on it now that football season is coming to an end. Any suggestions for good games that are a couple of years old (it's just a "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB" card)? I liked Portal and have decided I am now willing to shoot people in video game form.

Since laptops rarely ship with CD players anymore, I assume it's all done through steam or something like it now?
