Phish noodles around a little too much for my taste. Dmb can usually keep their songs tight in a live setting. They are better musicians anyway.

Dead and company with Mayer are pretty good though

We took shrooms, acid, and had giant nitrous balloons for 5 bucks at our campground every year. I wasn't doing dope at the shows yet

Boyd Tinsley was in a band that played my uncle's wedding, 25ish years ago. Apparently the band's hotel canceled on them at the last minute, so my uncle invited the band to stay at his house that night, and they had a great time because if you spend a night at his house you'll have a great time. Boyd leaves tickets for him everytime DMB comes to CT, which is every year, and he almost always offers them to me. I've accepted twice, once because free, twice because GF.

DMB sucks and their fans are weirdly obsessed.

You're telling me you don't cheer against certain teams because of the fans and/or city they are associated with?

quality of fans are the #1 reason to cheer for or against a team

i root for the visitors in every big game just because I like seeing the stadium unhappy

If y'all hate on DMB you just don't like instruments. Stick to your meant for 17 year old girls "bangers".

Carter Beauford GOAT drummer

Btw dmb largest grossing touring act of the 2000s .
I had a beer once with DM. Seemed a decent enough fellow. But his music is just goddawful crap that appeals to lowest common denominator frat boys and no one else. It's like rock and roll Kenny G.

Two in the bush > one in the hand. Once you reach the downhill side of life, you realize this is really all there is to it.

An armless Florida man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly stabbed a tourist.

Jonathan Crenshaw is a homeless street artist in Miami, Florida, who frequently paints on canvases near tourist attractions in around South Beach, according to the Miami Herald.

Crenshaw, 46, uses his feet to paint and allegedly used his feet again to stab tourist Cesar Coronado, 22, after midnight on Tuesday, the newspaper reports.

I like things that I totally understand why people would consider dumb, e.g. golf. So this isn't a judgment, but rather legitimate curiosity about why people enjoy these things.

Fireworks - even before the wonder of the internet raised the bar for being entertained, I never understood the appeal of watching **** blow up in a fancy pattern in the sky. Seems boring. I don't mean personal fireworks like bottle rockets or roman candles, those are lots of fun to shoot at people and things.

Parades - let's go stake out a place on a curb and hang out for awhile, and some time later people are going to roll by at idle speed in a costume of some sort on a float. Uhhhhhh???

Mock drafts - I still don't know if the purpose of mock drafts is to predict who teams are going to pick, or to predict who teams should pick based off of need, best player available, etc. I'd rather hear about someone's fantasy team than their mock draft, because at least fantasy involves actual games and real, measurable outcomes.

Camping - pack and haul a bunch of stuff out into the middle of nowhere, then spend time unpacking it...all for the privilege of being attacked by bugs and possibly mauled by bears while being far less comfortable than at home. Then when that's done pack it all back up and schlep home to put it all away. Yet this is a leisure activity thoroughly enjoyed by tens of millions of people. If the pioneers had the option of staying at a Hampton Inn I assume all the covered wagons would be in the parking lot at night.
