yeah that was crazy hearing about that last night. He is huge in NOLA/BR too. Pretty much ruined this girl's birthday we were celebrating last night when the bartender told us.

Growing up we always had one or two cats, they were mostly outside cats that would come in like every other night or when it was raining. They always seemed like decent pets but I would not want them inside an apartment all the time. The best thing about them was that they were all, every single one, stone cold killers. They'd kill everything: birds, moles, gophers, mice, rabbits, squirrels, once one even brought in an alligator lizard. Those aren't even native to the area, I hope it was an escaped pet that the cat caught; the alternative is that the cat learned how to break into houses and start killing captive pets.

EDIT: And they were always so proud, oh so proud, of whatever kill they brought in
