What's the deal with women taking pictures of themselves in their cars? Most inexplicably popular self shot location imo

Just talking on their phones while driving was obviously not stupid enough?

yeah, really hate the related "take a bunch of pictures while doing anything fun" mindset, too. How about just being in the moment and enjoying it?

How else are you supposed to let people you'll never talk to on Facebook again know how awesome your life is?

They're bored. Some people have to be around other people 24/7 so they probably go nuts trapped alone in their car.

The digital camera has been very good and very bad for the internet. Everyone thinks they're a pro photographer now because they have a nice camera.

I have a friend who demands he's a good photographer and he's truly awful at it. He thinks "taking good photos" means "capturing images of cool buildings or other things that aren't common". Every one of his pictures looks like he stopped randomly, pointed his camera up at the object, and snapped a photo without putting any thought beyond that into it.

My friend (who actually is very good) and I (average) kept trying to tell him he sucks but he wouldn't hear it. lol having us as friends. He was going to include his photography in his portfolio for an architecture job and he had like 30 photos in there and we told him only 2 were worthy of showing. The rest basically sucked. He swore we were wrong. And if you only have 2 good photos you've ever taken... don't ****ing show them.

So a few nights ago I was at a bar where they were playing the King of Limbs soundtrack. I had never really gotten into it before, but I've got to say, it just killed it. A+, would listen again.

Edit: That's a Radiohead album, FWIW.

Isn't Radiohead only supposed to be invoked when the current topic sucks, i.e. when discussing Radiohead is actually an improvement? Don't think we're there yet.

Well a lot of things are easy to make. Doesn't mean I wouldn't rather have them made for me. I'm particularly disinterested in purchasing and keeping on hand the 4-6 perishable items required to make a BLT, much less actually making the thing and cleaning up afterward.

Some people like to cook though. I am not those people.
