Don't see a lot of complaining about TZ gameday action. Pretty much have it down pat, that we do.

Pro tip: do not scratch your balls after chopping hot peppers. Good Lord.

Dude is one of the best of us. It's sad that even now it's not always a shock to hear about families not accepting thier gay sons and daughters. Really great to see Magic speak about it like that.
Yeah but he also thought Rudy Gay was good because he hit like 2 game winners in a week. His opinions are invalid.

I can never get over him saying "If I can get aids, anyone can get aids." Like, yeah...risk analysis, yo.

Plus my wife told me he hit on her pretty hard at the Reebok sports club not long after. She's like, "Excuse me...Don't you have AIDS?"

So I'm at taco bell getting a sweet chicken quesadilla. 2 ~20 year old guys come in buy a soda. One dude is filming the other, really weird. The guy with the soda goes to the center of the restaurant, says 'attention taco bell', pours it over his head and him and his friend run out laughing. Very bizarre.

Also, re: spicy things. Yeah, one time I tried a little bit of 357,000 scoville sauce. Had to pee soon after, and I even knew ahead of time, I better wash my hands real good first. So I washed them four times. Still, though, I came back out and sat back down at the table with my friends and couldn't stop squirming, damn that was awful.

Yeah, I gotta lift the massive thing up so that I don't pee on the floor

I think this was posted a while ago I just read the Esquire piece on the man who shot bin Laden. Seriously one of the best things I've ever read

Finishing up a re-watch of The Shield and

- goddamn it's good. Maybe not in the Wire/Deadwood/Sopranos tier but it's great and incredibly densely plotted

- it's so good even Laurie Holden can't ruin the final season

- Dutch, Wyms, and Billings are all amazing characters

Spoiler thoughts:

Spoiler:
Watching the Shane/Mara stuff is hard knowing how that all ends up.

Kind of disappointing how Julian was an interesting character early on and then sort of fell by the wayside - at least as far as I remember and have re-watched so far, I'm on s7ep4 right now - toward the end of the series

Seasons four and five were the weakest imo. It certainly seems like the series was dragged out to produce more episodes and the money train plot that is the main arc of the entire series was put on hold for most of those two seasons. Glenn Close was pretty good; Forest Whittaker was disappointing.

BREAKING NEWS: Ke$ha is performing at the Illinois State Fair this year which happens to be about ten minutes from my house.

Last year I saw four people get tazed, a guy puke all over a crowd (like five or six) of people he didn't know in the beer tents, an all-out brawl between two kids who couldn't have been much older than eleven, and a lady who had her armpit hair done in about five-inch long braids.

I'm not sure if there's a better place on earth for Kesha to be.

I remember seeing recently (like in the last couple weeks) some headlines disputing this account. Of course the point man who could set it all straight "won't talk in a million years" or something like that. I didn't actually read the whole thing disputing the Esquire account so that's all I've got.

You live near DuQuoin? Nice.

Several of us always thought about driving up for the fair, since it's not super far (Missouri bootheel). Hell, it's closer than our own state fair, in Sedalia.

May have to think about taking the kids to see ke$ha.

Springfield, actually. I'm not sure how many Illinois State Fairs there are but I'm quite sure ours is the biggest and trashiest.

I'm pretty sure multiple fairs call themselves that but this one runs like 10 days and is one of the biggest things to come to Springfield yearly, which is in no way a brag. http://www.agr.state.il.us/isf/ on phone so quickest link I could find.
