The book was aight but the cave paintings and hieroglyphics were so much better. I rode my pennyfarthing to the cave and drank a few PBRs while I read the cave paintings. It was the first iteration of GoT. Everything since has been typical mainstream garbage for brainless people. I'm so jealous of people who haven't read the paintings yet. I'll never get back that first time experience. Gonna go blog about it.
I agree that book is usually >>> movie but certainly not 100%. I much preferred the movie The Shining to the book. Maybe because horror is more effective when it's visual. There are probably other examples.
movies are always better than books. if i want to hear a story i'll take the version that i can absorb in 2 hours or less that comes with pretty pictures. when i try to read novels i end up zoning out on the same paragraph for 10 mins. i do not understand the appeal.

There are lots of examples of stuff on screen being better than the books (yes GOT is one) but citing One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is just lol, idc how good you think the movie is.
well then enlighten me on what i'm missing. i used to read a ton as a kid and for the life of me i can't remember what i liked about it. at a certain point it became impractical due to the time and focus required to complete a book.

This might be the worst post oat, and I can only assume you've entered a trolling contest or something

no, i'm not trolling. i enjoy reading but only if i'm learning something. i don't enjoy novels. humor me and explain how this makes me an inferior human being to you.
