The reality is Riverman is just a terrible poster

I feel like there is a giant overlap between people who think Riverman sucks and people who take 2p2 way too seriously.

Riverman is like an SE mascot, which is fine but the issue is he is a mascot who somehow has a superiority complex. Add that to his general douchebaggery and it wears a bit thin.

It's one thing to hire a clown for 10 bucks an hour for your kids party that shows up drunk. You can have some laughs at that, and really what do you expect from a clown?

But Riverman is the clown you hire for 10 bucks an hour, shows up drunk, and then somehow acts like he is better than you because he comes from an upper class background and he used to read scripts for actual important people. After a while you need to remind him that he is just a clown, and not to forget that when you squeeze his red nose it still honks, even with that Princeton degree.

The people who don't enjoy Riverman probably don't like the Frank Grimes Simpson episode either

I don't mind Riverman but the fact that he agreed to a Survivor, boasted about winning, then backed off when he realized he was going to is cowardly.

He should self ban for a week for justice to be restored.

I enjoy Riverman but if I read the NFL threads more often I probably wouldn't. And I hate the Frank Grimes episode.

I have no idea how Chilltown won the SE poster tournament last year. He seems like the biggest douche. I'd rather read 100 whining Riverman posts than the majority of Chilltown posts. SE picking him is like Rihanna going back to Chris Brown

I once drunk-lost $300 while betting my friend what year Dumb and Dumber came out. Then I reminded him he owed me $1,000 from like 2 years ago so he could pay me the $700 whenever he wanted.
