Coed college softball was pretty fun. Especially since I was our team's GOAT player and our coach was a female.

One time I launched a homer over the rightfielder's head and when the ball came back in the ump said I needed to re-hit because the ball was the hard girl's ball, so they subbed in the softer men's ball and I hit it in the identical spot for another homer. Errrbody lol'd.

I remember our doable thin black female coach yelled out "I looove that guy! Damn!" LOL

It's just volleyball, softball, soccer, mostly. Soccer works well in the US since a lot of girls are pretty good (Title IX!) and a ton of guys are completely horrible, plus it doesn't rely on physical attributes as much as e.g. basketball. Probably wouldn't work as well in places where a greater % of the male population grew up playing and are at least decent as adults.

Our local novice level ice hockey league allows women, and there are a small handful who play. It's a non-hitting league though (all the leagues are - even the upper level ones). Incidental contact is fine though. The women aren't very good but there are guys in the league who are even worse because it's the lowest league and they're learning. The women have at least known how to skate for years I suppose.

The rec soccer leagues here are pretty good. They're usually people who love soccer, play it routinely, or are hockey players and I find most good hocker players translate well into soccer. I played indoor soccer about 3 months ago and was just another member of the team. I was like the second best player at my school in grade 8 (highest grade) but was just average in this league.

Basketball leagues in Canada where I live are hilarious though. EVERYONE SUCKS. I played in high school and this alone makes me like the best player on the court almost every time I played. They're just people who like basketball but never really got trained in most of the basic fundamentals. And no black people at all. Tallest person is usually me at 6'3.

That sounds just like most American basketball courts, too.

Some girls actually play baseball in the lower rec leagues here. Most are godawful, but then again, almost all the men in those leagues are godawful too.

One of them was a small college softball player. She is great in the field. lol bad at hitting, anything over 75 is no bueno.

Oh I forgot. We have a 19+ year old woman-only team. They play against the 45+ year old men. They win maybe 1 game a year.

Grand Canyon yesterday, Pacific Ocean today ( http://m.google.com/u/m/xDbz8y ), Las Vegas tomorrow.

Don't have time to search b and m, so where should I play about three hours of boozy 1/2 tomorrow afternoon? Keep in mind I have never been off the interstate in Vegas, so wrapping some sort of sight into my limited time might be valuable maybe.

It works on the 50% of the time that Subway's veggies aren't also rancid.

They put like a pound of olives when I just ask for olives, but like 5 banana peppers when I ask for those, so I have to go light black olives extra banana peppers.
