I'm all about NPR and listener supported jazz, blues, or eclectic while driving. Classical a lot less, gotta be in the right mood to take that over jazz, blues, or something like World Cafe or Undercurrents or anything KXT plays in north Texas. But I drive for a living and both my ipod and satellite radio are currently inoperable, so lately I've been at the mercy of whatever FM stations come in well enough in whatever godforsaken part of the country I'm passing though.

I'm surprised you even listen to music I feel like podcasts/audiobooks are way more conducive to long driving. Something about really getting your mind in the conversation instead of passively listening to music and thinking about other stuff. There are so many podcasts out there on so many subjects nowadays it is never boring either.

Every time I'm home I say ok, I'm gonna download a **** ton of podcasts (truck stop WiFi is horrendous) but then suddenly I wake up hungover and go back on the road for a few more weeks
