If someone nudged me on the shoulder and said "you need to start leaving now to meet tuq at the scheduled time for dinner. Would you like to do so or keep doing what you're doing?" I'd get up as often as most people. Perhaps more so, I'm actually pretty generous with my time, which itself is a time-management leak.

To satisfy my curiosity, could you take this quiz and report the results?

Inattentive to most things sounds right. Def not hyperactive.

I learned and then un-learned it. I can go back to the MQ ways for non-TZ, had to fluff the PC someway...

I apologize to anyone who doesn't care for the single posts. I felt like when I would MQ bomb, people would just skip over long walls of text.

GYRO MEAT UPDATE

here's what 4 lbs of ground lamb looks like

sadly my blender/food processor couldn't even hack it through 2 lbs of it

so i took the half of it that had been pulpified and put it in a pan

while the other half sits in the freezer, waiting for a worthy kitchen appliance

went for the oven method since i do not have a rotisserie, pulled it out and drained the fat

didn't read the entire recipe, so i didn't know i needed a brick, hopefully this was an adequate substitution

will update on saturday, as i just discovered that i left my cucumber sauce out overnight

Oberon Ale is a pretty solid summer beer, Two Hearted Ale seems pretty popular - maybe thedeezy will see this and add his 2 cents

Phb: Bells is America's finest brewery, ainec. Two Hearted Ale is THE American IPA. Have had four or five of their other beers many times each. Just so goddamn solid, everything is right. Wish I could use better words. It's just all correct and perfect, everything they do.

I have raved about them before, itt I believe, and son I am disappoint you don't recall. I've had the good fortune to try countless beers from all regions of the US and many abroad. Especially Belgium. Goddamn those ****ers are good at beer and chocolate.

I like the "living in the present" part. IMO, one of the best and most easily applicable pieces of psychological advice that's out there.

What percentage of people born post-~1990 and growing up with relatively free internet access wouldn't score somewhere on the ADHD spectrum on that test? 10%? 20%? (Obviously skewed heavily towards the attention deficit rather than hyperactive side.)

eta: could be far off based on my own personal sample. Some of those questions, though. "Do you ever have trouble focusing on school, work, or any task?" Who doesn't?

Yes.

Hopslam is the elite of the elite, but they only release one batch per year.

Two hearted is a solid hoppy IPA.

Oberon is a pretty good orange-ish flavored summer beer.

That question cracks me up. Bell's is huge in michigan for obvious reasons. Oberon is a summer favorite of mine.

Least favorite part about Vegas: Sierra Nevada is basically the only thing resembling an IPA I can get while shooting craps or playing poker.
