I've never met my neighbor(s), but they had several weeks worth of flyers from chinese carryout, pizza, etc. stuff on their door earlier this week as well as two notices from the office (presumably overdue rent). Every time the police, EMTs, or medical examiner went in or out they were covering their mouths and noses with handkerchiefs. they also seemed to be in no rush and told me they're "just getting a sick person to the hospital" but I definitely heard "don't think its a homicide, but we have to consider it" when I came in the building and then a lot of talk about a "drug overdose" and "maybe a suicide" multiple times in the hallway. they wouldnt tell me much of anything, but there is no crime scene tape anywhere. presumably there has been a body in the apt next to mine for at least a few days if not weeks though. not a good look.

what are the chances I can get some compensation out of the apt complex for this in exchange for not inciting a riot by posting flyers on the billboards by the mailboxes? pretty sure no one else around me was home and realized what was going on.

You should get money because you know your neighbor died? Seems like a pretty messed up thought process.

nah, bc its gross and I want revenge for them ****ing me out of about $700 over the course of the year. One time was on a referral that they claimed to have already paid me. They also towed my car from a curb I parked on when someone was parked in my reserved spot at 1 am and I called to security officer to let them know I wanted them towed since there were no guest spots left and he told me just to park on the curb for the night and it would be ok. They also had my gf's car towed from my reserved spot (and jimmied the lock to break into her car and pull the parking brake) because the idiot in the spot next to me though she was parked in his spot (we dont have permits or anything and youre allowed to let other people park in your own spot).

Helps that he covered the hairline

This has been discussed before but it needs repeating. SE is one of the best forums on the entire internet. Every other place I visit regularly has a ridiculous no discussion of mods or modding decisions policy. Gives those idiots way too much power which you can't even protest. And being able to call out posters for being bad is a wonderful way for non mods to try and keep others in check. Plus it leads to hilarious meltdowns.

South beach has more places to walk to, but mid/north beach has nicer places to stay (IMO).

Mid/North beach:

Fountain Bleau is a nice place. Blu Bar is a great place to have drink. Crazy and interesting and different crowd all the time.

Canyon Ranch is in North Beach. Private access to beach. World class spa. Organic restaurant downstairs (puke). Normans Tavern across the street for your sports bar fix. But other than that, it's far from all the fun stuff Miami Beach has to offer. (this is my regular spot). I like it because it really just promotes relaxation and healthy living. Always leave feeling like I want to stay longer; that's a good sign.

South beach is where all the noise is at. I've only stayed there once; not my thing, but there are a lot of places within walking distance. If you really want to try that whole experience out, would suggest be around Lincoln road

Heck, you're almost there, I say wait til mid march and go then. Ultra music festival is a two week event this year and is insane. The whole Island just vibrates. Go big or go home...just don't expect much sleep. (that's if you could find a place).

how much time do you guys have for the internet? I thought I spent a lot of time online but 100% of my forum time and 90% of my internet time (aside from email and work) is spent on 2p2.
