Are you still upset about RH's fat jibe?

Maybe you and yeota can count calories together.

Generally between 12 and 18 bucks per drink in a bar, think somebody said 180 for a bottle earlier but I dunno what size. Been a long time since I purchased any liquor bottle that wasn't Evan Williams. Best bourbon bang for the buck ainec imo. Black label

Yeah that's a bit out of my price range. I'll stick with the $30-60/fifth of 10-12yr stuff. Not sure if my palate is even refined enough to taste the difference.

Yeah I don't make a lot really, but I have a tendency to go full blown hedonism bot when I'm hitting the bars. And I live a pretty Spartan existence so I often have cash burning a hole in my pocket, especially since these days I always carry a chamber of 1/2 bullets when I'm on the town

There are two correct ways to drink scotch:

1. Neat
2. Whatever makes you enjoy it more

For beginners, water and rocks. Then gradually decrease water+ice:alcohol ratio until all you really want is a couple of drops of water.

Personally, I take it on the rocks about 50% of the time. It also depends on when and where I'm drinking. Social atmospheres warrant more water and ice.

If we're going Meatloaf, I'll take Paradise by the Dashboard Light. Tells a great story and is basically three songs (and a Rizzuto call) in one.
