all that being said, I own 4 dvd sets. Still highly overrated. The laughtrack makes me want to gouge my eyes out every time, I legitimately can't get over that and don't see how others do. LD obv clever and some great episodes but the thing is most sitcoms are pretty elite if I can laugh out loud 5 times. If they are trying to literally make me laugh out loud 30 times an episode by insulting my intelligence I take it personally

happy endings is a better show than seinfeld

I also watched curb first fwiw so maybe it is that.

Chang went from dude with a cool hidden story and great example of a teacher that hates his job to crazy/delusional person. Britta went from slacktavist wanna be hippie chick to general bimbo. Kinda sucked.

seinfeld laughtrack isn't that bad imo, so many of the jokes are cheesy/ironic so it doesn't come off as lame as it does on more earnest shows generally

that's the stuff that I can't stand

I'm being overly harsh but tons of the things jerry would say then laughtrack occured just were not funny at all to me. The standup at the beginning<<<<<<the standup in the Louie show and all that jazz
