This post seemed good:

Also no foreign transaction fees, all kinds of travel insurance (lost baggage, trip cancellation, emergency, etc), automobile insurance, etc. Their fraud detection is top notch and customer service is extremely helpful and actually picks up on the first ring.

OR SPG AMEX, which gives you Starwoods points and allows you to transfer to a ton of partners as well.

I was actually just approved for the Sapphire Preferred card like 5 minutes ago. Took no time at all.

And ikes I'm glad you had fun. New Orleans has noticeably improved even since the time I graduated in 2009 and I have several friends at Tulane and LSU med schools that live in and around downtown and love it. I live further Uptown, but also still enjoy the hell out of it.

Yeah, as a married guy I'd live uptown, and could really see myself raising kids there.

It's tough to get into games at those, though. One table with huge waiting list every time, and then I blow a hundred bucks on the strippers and then it closes.

As opposed to the small owner run places where they always find a way to make room for me

3 hours of 1/2 last night made me 1k richer, we were ten handed instead of me wasting time

There was this strip club in Colorado (shut down since) that had pool tables, poker tables, xbox, playstation there to use for free. They didn't have dealers, so no rake. You could just get a group and play for real money.

The best part is you could play strippers heads up for lapdances. I'd put down 20 vs their dance. Was awesome.

It was also bring your own liquor. They wouldn't let you leave with the bottle, but would put a sticker on it with your membership number and keep it until next time. They also had a deal with a liquor store so they'd deliver.

It was like $12/year for membership, and like $6/time for cover. Cover included all the mixers for your liquor too.

It was a big response to the local city basically shutting them down by passing some law, so they (temporarily) worked around the law by making a private club.

So I might have just done a google search related to chim's post, and found this article:

Apparently this nursing home is bringing in strippers and prostitutes for its elderly residents.

Man, I miss that club. I never even was huge on strip clubs.. but when I can go shoot pool, play poker, drink for basically free.. and see topless girls all around it was pretty great.

It's like taking things you love and just adding topless girls.

Thanks. I knew it was "threadzilla", in general, but kept reading it used so specifically.

My instinct wants to say hotel workout centers, but the guy drinks quite a bit. Can't see him downing cocktails and flights all night to wake up and hit the treadmill on those trips.

Maybe he just has a personal trainer to keep him marketable for TV.

That's where we caught a couple parades. By superior oyster or whatever. Then we walked down to a dive bar and ate at a local place that I can't remember. Was quite drunk.
