100% agree on the LC titles in OOT being awful, but want to say that I like the changes in this thread. I don't always keep up and it's nice to see whether I should jump into a pretty good beer discussion or ignore Radiohead talk.

SE FAQ might be the best thread in all of 2p2.

Every other forum here pretty much a joke. If SE were to leave I think most of the regs would too

Probably a dumb question: what does "TZ" stand for, when used in SE?

I remember my friend telling me about his friend who was like 25 and made good money as an IT guy. He said he would deposit like 2K every check (or close to it) onto 10/20, which was the highest table they had at the time and he'd lose it all. He said that his friend told him "It's super easy to win. You just wait until 2 or 3 people raise, then push all in. Doesn't matter what you have - they'll all fold." Guess that strategy didn't work long. I told my friend that his buddy was going to go broke pretty quickly if that was the extent of his poker knowledge.

Hmm.. I thought it said in the NBA thread.

Was multi tasking and didn't read right. My answer was indeed poor, sorry.

There are a couple BBV threads about hot chixxx that are still better. I jack off to those threads about 20% more often than I do to this thread.

Anyone have a good prop sheet for the SB this year? Need one for the party, and having trouble finding a good one online.

Not sure about that, but it's easily the best SE sticky imo.

Anyone got thoughts on which credit cards give the best airline/travel bonuses? I'm grinding google looking, but a lot of these sites are total AIDS.

I have AMEX gold, which is good because you can transfer points to basically any airline, but have heard Starwood AMEX is better for hotels (4x points at Starwood hotels I think).

Yeah my parents have the Starwood AMEX, but I prefer a card that goes almost solely toward airfare at the moment.

have you looked into a Black Card yet? I hear those are decent. Clark can probably speak on that too.

To steer things back to beer, anybody home brew? I've got a few friends who do and will probably start in the next couple weeks.

I've got some friends who do, but I don't. Been pretty curious to look into it when I have the time again though.

Keep it updated, I'll should look for something too. My best friends at this point are in charlotte, AA, houston and LA. Would be nice to see if there was a way I could see them more.

BTW, Tulane interview went really well. Tulane and New Orleans exceeded my expectations by an absurd amount.

Stayed at the Marriott with the 49ers (made staying there Sunday night super annoying). Interview ended at Friday at 2:30, and rolled through the french quarter and uptown tipsy straight through Sunday night. My friend from Houston is dating someone who graduated in 08 from Tulane was my tour guide.

It really was an amazing town that has a completely different feel than any midwest or east coast city. It's so chill that even the med school students were happy, which kind of blew my mind. I got a ton of bar recommendations from the people interviewing me too, which is so different from the super serious environment of just about anywhere else I've visited. People were just nice there too, when I was alone at dinner thursday and sunday night I basically ended up eating with random strangers and had a great time.

If it was just my choice, I'd go there over anywhere else I'm up for consideration still. But the wife will keep me in Chicago if I get in. Tulane would mean living apart for a year or two.
