Just listened to both back to back and both are great on their own merit. Both also remind me of every single sophomore year party and tailgate.

The Shins 1st album was released in 2001, but yeah it looks like they had singles/EP's/stuff under a different name released in the late 90's. Bloc Party fall into the category of bands i just haven't listened to a ton.

I don't have a link to either, but the first was HiFi having a manic depressive moment driving hours to go kill mets but ends up giving a blowjob instead.

The second is ElliotR buying a plane ticket for american atakdog to visit TimeLady in Britain. I am unaware of further details.

If you're talking about the seafood and not some obscure band, then I 100% agree. They are flavorless and have terrible texture. Even if they are seared and encrusted with a good seasoning, and partnered up with a good sauce, I will still pass on them.

My mom's seared scallops is a legit deathbed meal for me.
