Great idea that Grantland ****ed up. Stopped reading at "Love Contract" > "Tupac is Still Alive", but had a pretty strong negative impression before that. Dude doesn't seem to be particularly perceptive about comedy.

Been watching some Chappelle Show recently after a pretty long hiatus (has it come back on TV when it wasn't for a while?) so have OPINIONS and stuff.

Clayton Bigsby is certainly a deserving winner. Could not disagree more strongly with Wayne Brady beating Prince then the original Rick James sketch to make it to the finals across Bigsby.

Maybe I'm misremembering but I would not have had Clayton Bigsby as a top 10 sketch.

I liked the Wayne Brady sketch but not gunna lie, woulda taken Tyrone Biggums Fear Factor over that round 2. That was one of my faves, hugely underrated.

Prince sketch was obviously elite. That would have been a deserving winner.

Well the argument for Bigsby up there definitely relies on legacy and representativeness and social commentary and similar intangibles. Agree that Rick James and Prince are (comfortably) better comedy sketches.

what, howtf does that happen?

iirc it took anarchist like 6 months to reach 40k signing up for every ww game and normally being the top poster and posting in other places as well. seems impossible to accrue that many posts that shortly even with werewolf, let alone without it.
