going for a (first ever) pedicure today. spend all day on my feet and my toenails right now could probably cut glass. no spa package or any of that noise.
come at me haters
Pedicures are great. Takes a real man to get one imo.
- Super comfortable massage chair (with vibration/rolling options etc)
- I don't really know exactly what you'd call some of the stuff she did, but I guess it was something like:
soak feet briefly in cool water, clip toenails, do a bunch of work on cuticles, buff nails with emery board, soak feet in hot water, scrub soles/bottom/top of feet with some block shaped thing to make them smoother, then a very nice foot/calf massage with lotion and oil.
Overall took about 25 minutes. Cost $20 plus $5 tip. Highly recommend!
There were other options that included some spa and massage stuff. I declined all that and just got the standard pedicure. I also declined nail polish.
Got a pedicure once a few years ago. It was in fact pretty damned awesome but I was one and done because like most luxury habits that **** can get expensive.
