Today at 1:00 eastern is the FCS Championship game between North Dakota State and Sam Houston State in Frisco, TX. ESPN2. If this seems familiar evidently it's a rematch of laast year's title game which NDSU won 17-9.

Do we usually make a game thread for it, change the FCS season thread title for it, or just completely ignore it? There's an excellent chance it's a much better game than the Ole Miss-Pitt showdown that'll be on at the same time. Also, neither team runs the triple option AFAICT, and each has a star CB/returner who are thought to be pro prospects. Sam Houston State played Texas A&M after the Alabama game and play them again early next year, so they'll probably have some things to say about Johnny Football (not Sam Montgomery-level things, but maybe neat anyway).

Oh I do think that may be a good one--good luck and enjoy! Offhand it kinda looks like Pitt struggled against spread offenses, although they obviously finished the year strong.

Ole Miss has no business being in a bowl given their terrible roster and difficult schedule, but Hugh Freeze has been 99% superstar coach for them.
