Enjoyed the video, disagree about Ron Burgundy though. I appreciated his tennis and golf posts. This was the first I'd heard of it. Odds are strong he was banned by a mod who is a worse poster than he is.

but the length of the word has zero to do with how easy/hard it is to say.

for me, o-o-t is faster and more natural than -oot
same with faq over f-a-q
pog over p-o-g
gif over jif (although i'll convert with this new-found 'inventor's knowledge')

it's all instinctive.

i mean, 'world wide web' in 'long form' is three syllables but in 'short form' it's NINE! so how 'short' is it really?
