Phb- i know its a matter of willpower, but point is that when you break it down to an ev decision that theres a pretty clear correct answer. Id prob be fat as **** if i didnt look at it the way i do.

Reverse implied odds are pretty sick though. You can get in a lot of trouble up against a huge stack of oreos. If you can't stop eating them you might have a heart attack.

The part people are commenting on is that a person you describe as "fat as ****" clearly does not look at it the way you do, and this surprises you.

The mythology of ET is part of the appeal IMO. Not just the landfill of unsold games but how it was supposedly a key part in Atari's demise and the "death" (however temporary) of home console games.

Yeah that dude was saying Atari paid $25M for the rights, and they sold a million games, most of which were returned for refunds.

The game seems to be credited with ruining the video game industry from about 1983-1986. That's pretty strong.

ET is my number 1 for the reasons stated. Big rigs is a clear number 2. SM64 top 5

et's just coasting on reputation. in comparison to other games available at the time of its release it's the best game taken so far.

Dude they ****ing buried millions of copies in the desert.

that's because they thought every single person who owned an atari would want a copy of the game, in addition to people who would buy an atari just for the game.

Oh, I didn't know I was giving off the impression I was surprised. I'm not. It's kinda like how ppl here don't have to be surprised by 4th down decision making by NFL coaches to lol at them for ****ing up.

edit- I don't even think fit people look at these decisions the way I do.

not to mention... doesn't the cookie kind of dominate/ruin everything else?

get a sandwich. if you want something crunchy with it, get the sandwich toasted. no need to bother with the rest.

While I've never had one, I would be shocked if the Primanti sandwiches with the big floppy steak fries shoved inside that they show during Steelers game aren't the most overrated sandwich move of all time. Just looks like the downie cousin to Philly steak sandwiches

The fries are definitely the lamest part of that sandwich. The coleslaw was probably the best, and I am usually not a slaw fan (although this was a vinegar and not mayo based slaw, which makes a big difference.) It's decent, but yes, definitely overhyped.
