No. Not at all. Football on the radio is quite awful actually. baseball is hit or miss.

Problem is in boston, the radio guys for both the sox and the pats are awful, whereas Grande and Max (basketball) provide probably my favorite radio experience of all time.

baseball on the radio is essentially talk radio. if the announcer's good at story-telling in the massive breaks in action (everything but 3 minutes, basically), then ya, baseball's the best. if the announcer is joe angel, then baseball's the worst
