yeah there's less use of statistics in soccer discussion, so it's more subjective than most stuff around here probably

also there are a lot of really PASSIONATE p0sters with decades old rivalries/grudges/etc so the potential exists for the threads to devolve into total AIDS at any point, and is rarely at a very high/useful/meaningful level, just a lot of subjective homering. but that's the way they like it i guess...

yeah for sure. seems to be more non-football discussion in football threads though (tards please read "football" as "soccer" - thanks). also more homerishness when it comes to these topics.

in conclusion, too many chelsea fans and marty gets/creates a lot of bans but it wouldn't be SE without him.

They're usually off the front page quickly and it's nice to have a dedicated spot to take pleasure in the failings of players and/or teams for a day or so.
