well, at the time, he had been drunkenly annoying me for an hour, then he went to get up to piss and he absent-mindedly leg-flung my cat.

that was all i needed.

honestly, i wanted to get him to punch me b/c i was maybe 26-27 at the time and it wasn't a free enough shot that if the cops came i wouldn't get into trouble.

so i halfway headbutted him. haha.

a bunch of cuss words we're yelled, i'm saying' wtf are you gonna do?' and he's yelling 'i'll **** you up', that sorta thing. at some point he grabbed his pocket knife and opened it.

i (even in the moment) kinda thought that was ridiculous b/c everyone i know knows that i have many guns, so just to 1-up him i opened a drawer and clowningly waved it at him. he yelled '**** you' and it took a bit of time for his boy to push him out the back door.

my wife was tripping (she's reeeally emotional. italian/blahblah but she also just saw a guy pull a 'knife' on her husband which initiated her husband grabbing a gun so yeah) and she was yelling at me and my other life-long friend started pushing me into the corner, but literally 10 seconds after he went outside i was fine.

when i told my wife (this was before he came back in) he flicked our cat, then SHE was furious.

kinda fun times, looking back.

when he came back in we were all sitting in the living room and he goes, 'wiper can i talk to you?' to which my wife responded, '**** you you mother****ing piece of **** you ****ing tried to............'. i went into the kitchen with him and our mutual friend and he said, 'man i'm sorry i didn't realize i was pissing you off and i didn't mean to hurt your cat i'm just drunk..'

i gave him a hug and we took a shot. because men tend to do that from time to time. haha

we have 3 cats. all 'rescued' from the non-kill rescue shelter.

what did you name them?

i have lucy (girl), anderson and fitzgerald (fitz).

would really love a dog, got a fenced in backyard and everything, but not gonna get one until one of the cats dies.

Haven't named them yet. Both are American short hairs one black and one yellow. They're a little under 3 months old I'd guess. A brother and sister.

well i mean, you don't drink liquor with your friends? and no argument has ever escalated?? it was just two really drunk guys (he had drank probably a 1/2 bottle of vodka with me beforehand) arguing.

My parents already adopted 2 cats when I lived with them so the idea isn't unfamiliar to me. I have no idea how I'll do with them but I know 100% they're better off with me than in a dirty ass paint shop.

the last time we went to get a cat, we both wanted a kitten. there were 2 cute kittens but fitz was in his jail cell and was really really outgoing towards us.

then the girl told us he was born at the shelter and had never really been outside his cage other than to get petted by people.

we broke him out. he was 6 or 7 months and already long, but my wife wouldn't consider one of the kittens at that point 'we have to get him out of his cage!'.

worked out, as he's the most friendly. he follows me everywhere i go in the house.

Haha yup, hard to resist those stories. Not sure what it is. For me, most people can go **** themselves as they just annoy me, but animals I have a soft spot for.

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't even start the "fights" on 2p2 either. It usually goes....AGame makes a post, random poster responds to post calling it ******ed and AGame equally ******ed, AGame responds back, more trolling from random poster and/or others, AGame says insults back. Then someone either gets banned (rarely me because of this) or parties involved get bored and the "fight" ends.

i've tried to explain or think through how or why i've gotten so anti-altercation with randoms with my wife. i mean, i dunno. maybe it's b/c nothing has happen in the last multiple years to get me riled enough to swing, maybe it's because i know now that i have things i could lose if i did.

dunno, but i've backed down a couple times where i know that i wasn't at all afraid of the person but also that they both deserved it and would have taken their fair share of punches.

i don't wanna fight at all now, got that out of my system. now, i'll even take a bit of embarrassment even before i'd start swinging. dunno. my wife has never seen me hit someone and we've been together for 8 years. my friends have brought up why she shouldn't worry about me, but i've always been a little curious if she really wonders what i'm really capable of. we've talked about how bad i wanted to call someone out but didn't, and there's a small part of me that questions her belief in those stories (that my friends mostly tell).

enjoyed the wiper fight story and the kitten pictures. the yellow one looks like mine did as a kitten. mine might have a bit more orange, which lead to me naming him orange because i suck at naming pets.

First: Kitty
Second which was Yellow: Yellow Cat
Third which was a Manx: Manxie
Fourth which was underfed but has since become rotund: Tubby

I too suck at naming pets, that's why I'm going to have to contract naming these two out.
