Tucking is situational, don't think you can really apply any universal rule to it.

I'll +1 Clark's suggestion to Dids that he's leaving a lot of EV on the table and could very much use a fashion makeover

Also once you adjust to fitted clothing it feels normal, very much worth it since the tradeoff is that you look good.

Unless you feel the need to have giant ass Beats By Dre studio can headphones, I don't get why people care about the headphone jack at all. Motorola S305s are like 30 bucks and sound as good as any non baller ear bud.

He then gels his hair to one side, puts on his skinny jeans and heads out to the show with the rest of his indie hipster band

a cool story, but this was never implied.

I merely commented that since a button fly is too difficult for him operate, Tanner likely opts for the much simpler velcro sneakers to wear with his dadjeans

I mean, I think I had some button-fly jeans when I was a kid all those years ago, but then I hit 8 and wore pants like a normal adult.

It is totally mindblowing to me that people are opposed to certain types of flies.

I have both button flies and zipper flies. They both feel like grown up pants to me.

Tucked and untucked with jeans both work.

The simple fact that button flies exist are an affront to zipper jeans.

mostly. I tuck in some shirts that would be better untucked when I wear them to work though.

I don't understand the point of button flies. They offer zero benefits over a zipper, and it's the most annoying thing in the world when you really, really have to take a piss, it's the longest 5 seconds of your life

This is where I'm at. If somebody can present a reasonable reason to wear them then I'm all ears.

Only conceivable reason to me is if you want to go freeballing with jeans, but I feel like the denim is more of an issue than the zipper at that point.

You unbutton them in one single motion, it's not that difficult.

Let me guess, you think the drumfill at the 39 second mark of track 6 ("Junior Kickstar") is the most exhilarating moment in pop music since the first "Woohoo!" in Blur's "Song 2" in 1997.
