I can't speak to the West Coast, but when it comes to DC, you're definitely right. Obviously the political atmosphere has a lot to do with it, but people are insanely PC around here. The slightest misstatement or off-color joke can get you labeled as a racist, sexist or, in my friend's case, Nazi!

Perhaps I'm conditioned well from years of 2+2 and an IRL group of friends who are pretty savage to each other (out of love!), but thin skinned people just TILT THE EVER LOVING **** OUT OF ME.

i remember you being sick but i think that thinking you failed is par for the course. haven't talked to a single person ever that did not think that post-bar/pre-results

i couldnt even form sentences in conversations with people after the first day. i hadnt slept in days and was throwing up the night before (not related to nerves... just a really, really unfortunately timed illness).

i won't find out for another 6 weeks or so

while taking the test i felt like i was failing but statistically it is very unlikely i did. luckily i don't really have anything riding on the outcome so there's no stress.
