I don't know if there's a way to establish those requirements without getting into subjective judgement of people's arguments.

The problem isn't like a bunch of kids posting +1 and what not- it's just that a lot of stupid people are making stupid arguments and because they're stupid they go on forever.

I was thinking last night that I wish we had a +1/-1 system just for that thread, so that if a poster go enough downvotes or something we could boot them.

Yeah well it was a bet.

I weaseled out of being banned from OOTV cause f it but I can't really weasel out of the BB thread ban without assurance I won't get snap banned if I go back in.

It's just a really bad mix of people and opinions. The Skyler discussion is really the epicenter of the AIDS. You've got people being really misogynistic and awful, and then just as bad the people being completely condescending toward anyone who doesn't share their opinion.
