well i mean like, okay duh. i know a tornado can do that, it's just not gonna.

we have a couple tornado watch/warnings a year, and every time my response is to get outside and watch nature's fury.

hell i can remember one time a few years ago when my brother and i lived together out of college, my mom called all grim saying, 'you guy have to get into the basement, we're at a restaurant and they put us all in the basement and i guess there's a sighted tornado coming your way, where are you guys?"

"are you kidding? we're drinking on the porch watching the clouds it's awesome!"

i dunno. this ain't tornado alley where people actually ever worry. my wife does. my cats hate it, but i wish i was awake (at 2pm, haha) to go outside today.

How odd that Dids doesn't seem to have a preternatural understanding of the dating world.

I can't figure out why she's dating THAT superstar athlete making 20M- He just looks like a gomer to me and one assumes that he's not the only tall, good looking, super wealthy guy who would like to rustle up her jubbilies. Her being a Det fan explains it though- as clearly taste is out the window.

I mean, he's no Matt Stafford, but Verlander is definitely a better than avg looking male. He's the best in the world at what he does, by all accounts is a smart dude with a good personality, and pitches for Kate's hometown team.

It's really not difficult at all to figure out why she's attractive to him.
