+1 to this. Actually enjoy the cold and snow for the most part. Snowmobiling, ice fishing, etc FTW

I don't love it when it's super hot and humid, but I generally love summers. I love thunderstorms, and I love the beach.

But the cold is pretty awesome for a while but it gets old by march. But it's just very refreshing, I generally enjoy winter food more, and nothing beats walking out of the gym into the cold winter air.

Actually not my bad, you just didn't comprehend it.
Like I said, I comprehended it perfectly. I don't care how much clothing you have on, your life or at the very least limbs are in danger over a decent period of time at -20

If you've got some water, you're in far far FAR less danger at 100. You appear to have missed my point as well.

nothing beats strolling out of the house at 2pm when you wake up to walk to the store for a cold blue gatorade and only having to throw on flip flops.

I said w/o water.

Again, read gooder.

You will live longer, but you can just suffer from exposure very easily in extreme heat.

@TSC, again, I know exactly what you said. You were saying to brave the heat without water. I made the comparison to going out in cold without a coat. Which is more dangerous? Clearly the cold. Add a coat for cold and water for heat, same thing, cold is still more dangerous.

The point was going out into extreme weather woefully prepared.

Wiper walked out into subfreezing temperature w/o shorts and flip flops on and said "I could die here easily".

LDO

Then said "100 degrees you aren't gonna die from sleeping/sitting."

Go walk out into the sun in 100 degree heat for a few hours with no shirt on and no water, you are dead just as easily.

Yep, and I'm disagreeing. How about we test this. I'll go out in 110 degree weather without water. You can go out in -20 weather with no coat or other proper clothing. We'll see who lasts longer.

I'm not saying heat isn't dangerous. I'm saying that I think cold is clearly more dangerous.

You probably beat me by a few hours, cool?

When did I say cold wasn't more dangerous? I made a sarcastic comment to someone who seems to think you can't die in 100 degree weather, one who walked out in freezing weather and shorts and said "I could die here".

The clear implication is, you can die in extreme weather if you are not dressed correctly or prepared. Hot or cold.

it is, but luckily we humans have evolved inexpensive methods for staying warm. our methods for staying cool are typically much more unreliable and expensive, which is why when there's a severe heat wave in a big city, there's usually a number of deaths.

EDIT: but yeah this is dumb
