the once a week commitment to football is huge advantage

plus, the sport is inherently awesome

yeah, my kids grow up playing soccer. It's to tire them out on weekends, so daddy can do work/gamble.

i grew up playing soccer and i still hate watching it. i played it for like 8 years of my life. i wasnt ever very good, but i did enjoy it as a kid.

however, despite that, i never had any interest in watching it

most americans my age who declare they "love" watching soccer seem like they are forcing it and it's akin to a casual sports fan feigning enthusiasm so everyone believes he "really" loves his team. they barely actually watch any soccer other than going and getting smashed 2 times a year when a big game is on.

i will admit going to a soccer pub in town and watching the loleuros react to the game is very entertaining. if i were gonna watch a loleuro sport, it'd be darts! (which i do actually watch a few times a year). and if not that, then rugby.

The fact that the crowd can get like that over darts blows my mind, and is awesome.

when i was 9 i had a late penalty kick to tie the game and put it off the crossbar. worst soccer moment ever. i was on the green team.

the next year playing for the black team i avenged myself and somehow bent in a free kick over a wall of kids. no idea how it happened since i was trying to blast this douche in the face but instead it was like a perfect RB kick in fifa to the near post

then my soccer career was over

I like football because of gambling, beer and trolling game day threads. What do I win?

DISCOUNT DOUBLE CHECK
LOL SANCHEZ

and then after the games, quoting all the dumb posts

Crowd simulation. It's not the content of the posts; it's about the vibe. It's a textual clamor of joy and anguish, a living and breathing animal. For a few hours, it's the pulse of SE. CUTLAHHHHHHH.
