i guess its more that positive plays in other sports result in tangible attributions. points yards baskets runs hits catches. make a nice play in soccer and its nothing.

To expand on this point:

Most of your friends agree, soccer is bad, lol soccer. But soon a few of them start dropping phrases like '4-4-2' and 'did you see the London derby last night?' into casual conversation. You tell yourself its just a fad, but more and more of them are doing it. Soon they are getting up early to catch the EPL action, before going down to the pub with the lads to watch the MLS. Your few remaining loyal anti-soccer friends are being seduced by talk of CITY VS UTD and BARCA VS REAL. Now no one wants to discuss NASCAR with you, but at least you haven't broken, oh no, you will remain anti-soccer till the end. Finally it happens, you reach your breaking point. You catch your best friend discussing the finer points of zonal vs man to man marking on corners. Desperately, you beg him to watch the hot dog eating contest with you later over a few bud lights but he politely declines, and turns away to continue his soccer conversation and his pint of ale. Dejected, you run home in tears. You toss yourself off so as to speed up the onset of sleep, a dream world in which soccer is still a joke, and you are still a man.

Went tonight to see the Winterhawks lose 7-2 to Kamloops in the WHL playoffs and they drew just over 10,000. Not too bad.

yeah the beauty is that you can hit tab with the left pinky and then space with the thumb, which is easier than moving the right hand over to hit enter
