I don't like your chances, my cousin used random.org to pick his NCAA bracket last year, did so badly he didn't join to donate five bucks this year. Random.org just isn't lucky, stay away.

got bored and added up all the actual prizes won since the jan 27 drawing (the first in this string). ignoring taxes on teh 250k and 10k prizes and just assuming the number of tickets sold was the jackpot prize (the number is obv wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more), gubment has made $1,961,714,831 in the last 2 months on mega million tickets. it's estimated that for this drawing alone 1.46 billion in tickets are being bought. so the real number is probably what, closer to $5 billion made in teh last 2 months

Gotta let the poor people subsidize your huge win by juicing the pot when the jackpot is low. What I love is that on the Mega Millions tickets I bought, there's an ad saying Wednesday's Lotto Jackpot is now 3.5 million dollars! What kind of a degenerate is going to spend money on a one in ~45 million chance at 3.5 million when you can get a Mega Millions ticket for the same price?

Where did you get that 1.46 billion number? The estimates I've seen are more like 600 million tickets sold.

There was already $363 million in the prize pool.
