Maybe 16 would work better with everyone getting two teams. Maybe pairing it off so someone gets Colts/(now) Skins, someone gets Vikings/Browns, someone gets Bucs/Rams, etc so that back to back picks can get made

I think I got this going last year or the year before that. It was around 8-10 people and we did only the first round, and IIRC it turned out pretty decent

London nightclub advice would be appreciated - open to a variety of experiences but def want to do at least one megaclub. Also, looking at booking in Sohoish area. Better off for food/drink-centric trip to be near Soho Square or St. James Square? Thanks.

I'm expecting some epic trip report when this is done. Sounds like the GOAT trip each time I see something new about it.

I'll manage. Though, I do usually call it a night by 5am. Besides, isn't last call really early or something?

Thoughts on Soho Square vs. St. James Square for food/drink/walking/shopping/talking to randoms? Both are near a tube, but I like to have home base close to where I'd like to spend extra time.

Clark - it has been a while since I went to a club (because I'm really ****ing old now) but I always quite liked Fabric. Obviously you'll need to find a night that suits your tastes.

A lot of the higher end restaurants are located probably slightly nearer to St James Square, but this is obviously slightly further from where a lot of the nightlife is. Don't be afraid to venture a little further afield if you are going a night out drinking - it depends on your tastes, but many of the trendier places and many of the better places aren't slap bang in the middle of town.

PM me if you need any recommendations.

no, last call applies to pubs, not clubs. clubs go on serving till way into the morning. as do bars.

soho square is unbearably busy at all times, you're better off in st james square. its a short (~10-15min) walk from the main nightlife.

tubes stop service at 00:30 and resume at 6:00am btw, so you might have to taxi it (££££££)

Bummer on taxi.

I'm definitely going to spend at least one day/night, if not two, out of that area for sure. Happy to hear recommendations for where.

Thanks a lot for the help guys.

I dont have the money to restaurant much any more but I splurged a £k on myself and friends here after a poker win once, it was very good in my (philistine) opinion. its also very close to soho and st james, so is convinient no matter which place you decide on.

Adrian from Rocky/Connie Corleone is Jason Schwartzman's mom

She is Francis Ford Coppola's sister

Nic Cage's aunt

Nic Cage's father is FFC's brother

Did other people know about this? My mind is both blown and put at ease that this explains Cage's career (him having one)

This is all fairly well known, especially about Cage.

holy**** some of you are so bad. saying my posts are terrible when we got guys who think JVG and Jackson would absolutely thrive with that NY roster. I read a guy saying Chandler would be a great fit in the triangle

Its almost as similar as Brown when he took this team over. Same result will happen but not as magnified.

Sloan would make sense because while his teams do get up and down. his hybrid half court Princeton-flex type of sets will give the movement and "spacing" which many of you so desperately desire. His teams aren't very good defensively but they are tough. The only problem would be that it doesnt seem like these guys on the roster can face criticism well. Sloan will get in your face. and if they didn't respect D'antoni(which they actually did) they will crumble under sloan.

JVG and any half court grind it down style of coach will be a terribad decision. If you watched basketball or knew something about it you would know.
