I'm also caring about this bc I just started a draft and don't want it to lose attn/participation bc of other (non sports) ones going on

there's never more than 1 at a time in SE.

so what's your concern, that this Pokemon Draft will overshadow your one?

i mean looks like the NBA & MMA ones are done, or just about?

other than that there's a bunch of soccer threads that mostly got bumped bc of games today, that will fall back off the 1st page. idk, if there's enough interest in your draft (and lack of overlap with the Pokemon one, lol) i wouldn't worry about it too much.

I still have zero understanding of WW but for example if there were a new NBA draft every week, ppl would complain

I'm completely fine with all the obscure drafts, but all this WW nonsense needs to stop. It's clogging up SE and only a very small group of people actually open those threads to begin with. Maybe like 10 people by the end of the thing.

Make em keep that **** in the POG forum. The first once or twice was fine as a crossover. Now it's just getting out of hand.

There is only 2 things on the first page that are WW related, but this is SE. One of them is always at the top of SE thus making it feel clogged. Why not just sticky it once it starts running?

Would personally make me (and probably all of the WWers) much happier.

well i said limit not remove. however, and i say this as someone who would prefer the rando drafts begone if i had to pick one, ww has less need for se forum space given the existence of pog

edit: the "one thread" point isn't that strong when there is a designated space already

I was in a bar recently and written on a DID YOU KNOW? board behind the bar was something like "even though ASH KETCHUM is supposed to have all the Pokemon, he has only collected 147!" or something like that. Can't believe I didn't take a picture of it, it was such a totally random thing for someone to choose to write about in a bar. It was also the first time I had any idea where ASH KETCHUM got his name from.

re: drafts and stuff messing up the forum - are there really that many SE threads? it's the sports graveyard right now. that said, the non-sports drafts could easily go in the team threads forum
